The best way to reduce hunger pain or suppressed appetite is eating real food. Real food is far better than those diet pills which are responsible for several health disorders. Real food not only helps to reduce craving but also lose weight to a great extent without any harm. In the same way lemon water has a lot of benefits when it comes to lose weight. One of my friends told me that she drinks a glass of lemon water every morning with empty stomach and she has reduced quite a marginal weight.
I tried to find out whether it is scientifically proved or not but I didn’t find any prior scientific study which confirm this. Yet I will share my personal opinion about this. Though, I am quite sure about several benefits for lemon water. Let us discuss on all the benefits which others claims.
Lemon water helps stabilize blood sugar. Well, lemon water us purely a natural drink and most of the part is water. The more one drinks water better is the metabolism rate. So, drinking lemon water will definitely help to fire metabolism rate. But I don’t think that the lemon water independently helps to increase metabolism. It can be responsible for a better metabolism if used as an important part of our diet plan.
Helps to Lose weight. I am not sure here but will just say that if you are confident enough of that then I would say it helps. If you think it works for you then better enough to go ahead with it. But the main thing to note is that whether the weight loss is for a long term or not. But still I will suggest everybody to drink lemon water. And why not? If it helps reducing weight without any harm then why depend on other alternatives. If its consumed few minutes before the breakfast it keeps your stomach full and you intend to eat less thus adding less calories to your diet and consequently reducing weight.
Lemon Water helps to overcome hunger cravings – Lemon contains pectin and it acts as a appetite suppressant. That is how it helps to reduce hunger craving. But at the same time you should have knowledge that pectin is available only in the rinds of lemon and not in juice. For having more pectin in the lemon water you will need to add more of its rind as well. This will lead to weight control as pectin will suppress appetite and hence you consume fewer calories.
Lemon water helps to balance pH level of our body. Lemon water though is acidic itself it helps to increase the alkalinity of water. Thus it helps in neutralizing the pH levels. It is very good for our body as we often eat salty and spicy food keeping our body more acidic. Human body performs more healthily when the pH level is almost neutral.
Eating natural and unprocessed food will never lead you a wrong way. It will be beneficial in one way or other. This is one of the best ways of losing weight and fat naturally and without any cost.

warning: loose glass addict! (+16 things about me)
Image by kristienberghs Got tagged by mAdkit, thank you Honey! 1. I don't always look like that, it's just my most recent "portrait". I wear a mask in my glass studio to prevent breathing dust particles. I'm not usually that blurry either. :-p 2. one of my new year's resolutions this year is to gain weight! I've always been thin, but the past 2 years I've even gotten thinner. BMI is 17,5, so that's slight underweight. I want my boobs back! 3. Sixteen things about me and I'm already stuck at 3. Ha! Well, I'm very fond of artichokes if you must know. 4. I have a blast being on my own: I need a lot of time to recharge & to work out ideas. so much for the social butterfly, right? 5. I love writing with a dipping pen and carry a filling pen with me all the time. On the other hand, I'm so excited about my new IMac (my first Mac ever!). 6. I've had long hair for almost all my life, only cut it twice: when I was 17 (a bob of sorts) and when I was 22 (pixie). Now it's probably the longest it has ever been! Almost hip length, that is. 7. I'm an autodidact and learn best when I can find out stuff on my own. I don't think I'll ever be done done studying...school or not! 8. I'm currently eating a slice of bread with tofu pesto. I'm not a vegetarian but I mix & match (veggie days vs regular days). That's it for starters, I'll come back to finish it later (tonight or this weekend). How hard can it be to tell 16 things about yourself? Pff... :-p Thank you so much for your comments, Joannateh_32 and cupcakecowgirls! Now let's finish the rest of these little buggers... 😉 9. I used to play the piano a lot. The French composers were my favorite: Chopin, Fauré, Ravel, Poulenc, ... 10. I'm owned by three cats (who you can meet over here): a little tiger Assepoes (that's Dutch for Cinderella), Black Shelley who's almost as big as a small dog and white longhaired, odd-eyed Isaura who I love to call Spooky. Both Assepoes and Isaura come from shelters; Shelley used to be a farm cat. 11. I'm not such a fan of the whole vintage 50's-60's revival of the moment. It's too plastic for my taste. Give me some decent Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite or Art Nouveau! Or even further back in time, to Jane Austen and Jane Eyre. And if all else fails I'll settle for ancient Egypt. 12. I LOVE Burt's Bees body care products but you can't find them here in Belgium. I must visit the US again. :-p 13. my website's name, www.aarghh.be, was a little joke back when i got on the internet for the first time, in 2001. And then I got used to it and it stuck (a Monty python reference if you must know -the Castle of Aarghhh... ). So aarghh it is then! 14. I love to sleep and I need pretty much of it; having been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome although I have gotten somewhat better over the years. 15. my right thumb is shorter than my left one. 16. Color combinations/patterns and clusters/harmonies of sound have synesthetic qualities for me. It's like watching Fantasia when I listen to music, or hearing the soundtrack to a painting when I look at it! Ok, so it became longer than I anticipated, sorry about that! Thanks for coming by and I'd love to meet you too!
