* 1 Tblsp baking powder
* 2 Tblsp organic flax seed
* 1 cup skim (or soy) milk
* 2 Tblsp applesauce
* 4 egg whites
(Substitution: 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 tsp. salt, and 2 eggs can replace the 4 egg whites.)
Combine dry ingredients. Combine and add liquid ingredients. Stir gently and pour into lightly buttered skillet. Turn when bubbles break. Cook until slightly browned. Serve with fresh blueberries for tasty breakfast!

Isn't the ghost cute? 1 - ghosts (8-bit Pac-Man Ghost) 2 - boots (Dollhouse miniatures) 3 - duotone processing (I love Photoshop) I've been searching for an application for my golden flax seeds for ages! I mean, sometimes I use them in cooking, but they're way more fun to photograph up-close. The ghost is from Pac-Man and through the magic of B&W controls in Photoshop, I was able to make him stand out. Pinky was truly the same tone as the flax. GAK! The boots were purchased specifically for Iron Photographer. I wanted something small, that went well with the flax seeds. These fit the bill perfectly.
