Fish Oil Vs Flax Seed Oil – Which One Should You Buy?
A lot of people today want to know which one wins between fish oil vs flax seed oil. Many say that flax seed oil is better, while others say that fish oil omega-3 supplements are the way to go. How can you know which one is better?
Scientific studies and research show that the most beneficial fatty acids are DHA and EPA. These two are in all the fish oil supplements out there. Flax seed oil contains ALA, which has to be converted by your body to DHA and EPA.
The bad news is that this conversion does not always happen. The people who are in bad health are the ones that need these essential oils the most, but the bad part is that these people convert it the worst, which is why omega-3 supplements are the best.
The debate in fish oil vs flax seed oil is easily won by omega-3 fish oils once you start looking at the facts. The human brain is 30% DHA, which it needs to function properly. By taking in ultra-refined, and high-quality omega-3, your brain can utilize those fats instantly.
Flax seed oil has also been shown to mimic estrogen in the human body, which can lead to men having problems with it. Women do not do well with too much estrogen either, so you want to look out for these things if you decide to go for flax seed oil.
I personally have been using an ultra refined, and pure omega-3 supplement for years, and the health benefits that I’ve gotten are tremendous. When you’re out there looking for the best omega-3 supplement make sure that you find a company that you trust.
There are a lot of companies out there that produce low-quality products, but these are easily avoided by looking at independent laboratory tests on how pure and effective their products are.
