How to Introduce the Raw Diet to Children- In recent years there have been lots of buzz around the medical community regarding the benefits of raw food. People have begun raw food diets and are seeing and feeling the benefits and how it’s affecting their bodies. The white one was yogurty (my favorite) and the red one with shrimp was lime and cilantro. Pork fried rice, salads, and beans round out the selection. The purple drink is chicha morada, a purple corn beverage. It's SO GOOD. Vaguely like grape kool-aid with mulling spices in it. Refreshing! Wikipedia blurb: "Chicha morada is not fermented. It is usually made of ears of purple maize (choclo morado) which are boiled with pineapple rind, cinnamon, and clove. This gives a strong purple-colored liquid which is then mixed with sugar and lemon.
