Rubies, emeralds and sapphires are precious gemstones, which cost a lot. Hence, it is important to use a little intelligence while buying the loose rubies, loose sapphires or loose emeralds.
The loose rubies, emeralds or sapphires should only be bought from a reputed gemstone merchant. Also, when you buy the loose gemstones you should check whether they have been treated artificially, because they may have undergone a chemical treatment for enhancing their appearance.
Make sure that the loose sapphires, rubies or emeralds retain their natural appearance. The rubies should have the natural intrusions, the absence of which can mean that the loose rubies are not good in quality.
Also one should make sure that the loose gemstones come with a quality certification which establishes the authenticity of the rubies. All the good merchants readily offer such a certification without any serious problems.
A lot of people have done some research and have come up with a safe and secure option that allows them to buy the loose sapphires. They opt for a reputed website owned by a multinational wholesaler selling the gemstones. The website presents them with a lot of options, that too affordably.
They have checked whether the quality is as good as claimed by the website. It turned out that the website also offered a 90 days warranty on the loose emeralds, sapphires and rubies that they were planning to buy. Also, they get a certificate that also authenticates the quality of the gemstone. The buyers’ apprehensions are vanishing and they have started to buy loose gemstones from these websites.
Well, to be true a lot of people have a hard time when they shop for loose gemstones; hence one should choose the easy way out. Since the people mentioned above have researched a lot and in the end they decided to buy the loose gemstones from a reputed website, it definitely is the way to go.
These websites have proven to be a wonderful place for buying the high quality loose gemstones at affordable prices. There are a lot of options that one can choose from.
All the loose gemstones are offered at the lowest prices as they come from these websites’ very own inventory. Also, these gemstones are of the highest quality which is backed by a quality certification issued for each individual loose sapphire, emerald or ruby.
Hence, when you want to buy loose gemstones, you should try a good website.

You've come a long way, Baby! (if I do say so, myself)
Image by EraPhernalia Vintage . . . [''playin' hook-y''] ;o BEFORE and AFTER washcloths. It all started out innocently enough. And I don’t actually remember what sparked this madness, but I think, that since I was a relapsed knitter/crocheter starting from my college days and ending as a young mother (who'd have time to knit/crochet with 2½-year old and a 6-month old and was teaching high school fulltime?), I NOW had a rekindled interest in knitting and crocheting and wanted to try out new stitch patterns on a small scale. Enter the washcloth/dishcloth. My first effort was a basket weave pattern knitted in a cotton and linen blend, since it was the only yarn I had on hand that was at all suitable (it's the one on the left above). It came out a lot bigger than I expected and was kinda wonky. It was also HUGE, and loose and floppy, and not much to my liking. I wasn’t terribly disappointed, just eager to learn what yarns were more appropriate, what stitches yeilded an acceptable result, what cloth size and thickness I preferred, and to find new patterns to try. I then discovered the myriad sites on the web for dishcloth/washcloth patterns, AND the gorgeous ones on Ravelry, which led to the zealous accumulation of cotton YARNS! And, voilá! My newest obsession was born. The cloth on the right is one of my latest and the pattern is called Double Bump from MyJewelThief_Knits on Ravelry; it's also called Waffle Stitch. Neither of my cloths has been blocked yet, but the finished product is now so much nicer, I think. Since beginning, I've learned to make a nice edge on the sides by slipping the first stitch purlwise of every row, and to use the crochet cast-on (my absolute FAVORITE cast-on!) because it matches my bind-off — and I'm a bit anal about that! I’m still looking for new patterns to try out and will continue to knit/crochet them until I get really tired of making them. Just got some gorgeous new P&C yarn colors, so I’m not bored yet! Fun! P.S. If you are a knitter, crocheter, spinner, yarn dyer, or fiber-lover in general and don't yet know about Ravlery I encourage you to go there and check out what's going on. There are one million members(!) now and more gorgeous, funky, and fun projects than you're likely to see anywhere.
